- Take an existing client to coffee to talk about them — not you.
- Give a referral to an existing client or a colleague.
- Ask for a referral.
- Ask for a testimonial.
- Write and disseminate a press release.
- Write a blog post.
- Write an article and float that article to a trade association magazine.
- Read one chapter of my book.
- Post a video on your blog or website explaining to clients how they can improve their results.
- Teach a staff member something new so they become of even greater value.
- Volunteer for a trade association where your target market are members.
- Take 7 minutes to walk in the fresh air and come back to the office with 3 written ideas of how to improve what you do for clients.
